Meet the founder

One person builds this. That is the whole support team, and the whole roadmap.

I’m Tony Dalton. I build CorePaw, the free app pet owners use to keep their animal’s record — passport, microchip, vaccinations, medications, walks — and CorePaw Pro, the business app on this website.

Why a second app

CorePaw had dog walkers in it from early on, as people an owner could share a pet with. What became obvious is that a walker does not want a shrunken version of an owner’s app. They want their round in the morning, a way to record a walk with a lead in one hand, something that reassures a client without typing six messages at the end of the day, and an invoice at month end that they did not have to rebuild from a calendar.

That is a different product for a different person, so it is a different app — with the same backend underneath, which is the part that matters. A walk you record here lands in the owner’s own record of their animal, because it is literally the same record, not an export.

What it will not do

Some of the decisions in this product are refusals, and they are worth stating plainly because they affect you.

  • It will never take a percentage of what your clients pay you. Your client pays you directly. The moment software sits between a business and its income, the software’s interests stop being the business’s interests.
  • There is no marketplace, and there will not be one without a very deliberate decision. The moment a platform places clients, it is competing with its own paying customers for the client relationship.
  • Owners never pay for anything your business depends on. Reports, messages and booking requests are free for them, permanently. If an owner could not request a walk because they would not pay a subscription, you would lose the booking — and you are the customer here.
  • No badges we have not earned the right to give. A verification badge is a claim we would be making to a pet owner about you. Until there is a real process behind it, uploading a certificate will be described as uploading a certificate.

What is honest about where it is now

CorePaw Pro is new. The whole loop works — clients, pets, scheduling, GPS walks and visits, reports, messaging, invoicing, teams, offline recording — and it has been on the App Store and Google Play since September 2026. The features page lists what it does not do yet, in full, including the things people ask for most.

There are no customer numbers on this website, no download counts, no testimonials and no star ratings, because there is nothing real to put there yet. When there is, it will be attributed to someone with a name.
